Michael Falode
Director, Energy Management
An experienced specialist in power system operations and business management with over 20 years of experience in telecommunication asset management, power system modeling, and business process re-engineering. Michael was a pupil engineer with the National Electric Power Authority, now Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC); he was in charge of utilities management at Elizade-Toyota and an engineering team leader at MTI Plc and Helios Towers, managing telecommunication facilities at different locations.
In 2012, he was a Key Account Manager with Linksoft, managing over 1000 sites, and as the Head of Field Operations in 2014, he led the delivery of over 4000 sites in managed services to Huawei Technologies, LM Ericsson, IHS Towers, and Nokia Siemens. As the Chief Technical Officer of COMENERGY in 2016, he led the business to Site Maintenance and Power Management Services (SMPMS) at American Towers Company (ATC) from 2017 to 2022 before joining Prime Infrastructure West Africa as a Director in Charge of Group Business Development across five countries in West Africa and now as Head of Energy Management with Centdoor Limited.
He holds a Master's Degree in Information Technology, a Postgraduate Qualification in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, and an MBA Business Foundation Certificate from Nexford University. He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and a registered engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, C.O.R.E.N.
